What this is
QOSMOS R¹² is a live instrument, not a dashboard of static charts. Each tick, a 12-dimensional state ψ is stepped through a named pipeline and drawn as a radar. You can pulse it, cut stages out, and prove the run is deterministic.
The header line t · h · Σh is the clock, the current state hash, and the chained digest. If two machines finish a run with the same Σh, they agreed on every tick.
The radar
The twelve spokes are the field axes. Distance from center is amplitude on that axis (inner = −1, rim = +1). Click the stage — or press P — to inject a Φ pulse on the next tick.
- Solid ice-blue fill — live ψ
- Gray dashed ring — self-model Πᴽ (lagged observer)
- Orange ticks — Γ, the gradient / tension on each axis
- Teal dotted ring — nearest attractor basin

Telemetry
Six readouts sit beside the radar. They update every tick.
- ρ coherence
- How close ψ sits to a basin and to the self-model. High ρ means the field is locking.
- H entropy
- How spread the amplitude is across the twelve axes. Collapse usually drops H.
- ‖Γ‖
- Gradient magnitude. Hard-capped at 1.4 so a pulse cannot blow the state out.
- Σ◯ · regime
- Mesh node count, then the regime: drift, near-Λψ, or hold (just collapsed).
- Cψ metric
- Collapse pressure: ‖Φ‖ / ρ − κ_damp · H. Realization A uses this with the Ω-map gate.
- Ω-map f
- CE-9 harmonic gain. Near 1 is resonance. Realization C always reports 1.
The strip under the radar is the last 256 ticks: solid ρ, dashed H, thin Cψ, dotted τ (the collapse threshold you set).
The spine
The glyph row under the title is the per-tick pipeline. A strike-through means that stage is cut (ablated). Realization A runs:
- ΠᴽreflexSelf-model eases toward ψ (β = 0.1).
- ΘλrecallPulls toward the nearest mesh memory if close enough.
- ΩµnoiseSeeded Gaussian jitter. Amplitude is the Ωµ slider.
- ΦfluxPeriodic, drift, quiet, or a one-tick pulse.
- Γgradientg(ρ) · (Φ − ψ), then fused back into ψ.
- ΛψcollapseIf ρ holds above τ, lock toward the nearest basin.
- Σ◯meshEvery 12 ticks, summarize recent history into a node.
- ΩCE-9Harmonic map over recursion depth ν. A only.
Controls
| Control | Key | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| run / pause | Space | Clock the engine at the speed slider. |
| step | S | One tick, then hold. |
| Φ pulse | P | Next tick uses a strong sinusoidal flux instead of the mode. |
| reseed | — | New random seed, same config. Hash line resets. |
- τ collapse
- ρ must sit at or above this for two ticks before Λψ can fire. Default 0.78.
- Γ scale
- How hard the gradient pulls. 1.00 is unity; raise it to chase pulses harder.
- Ωµ amp
- Noise floor. 0 is silent; 0.055 is the canonical run.
- Φ mode
- periodic — eight-phase sinusoid. drift — slow wander. quiet — flux off except pulses.
Changing τ, Γ, Ωµ, mode, or an ablation starts a fresh run at the current seed so the digest stays honest.
Ablations
Each chip is a stage. on means it is in the spine. Tap it to cut it — the glyph in the header row strikes through and the run restarts. This is how you see whether recall, noise, or the gradient is carrying the lock-in.
CE-9 Ω is the harmonic map. It only lives on Realization A. On C the chip is disabled.
Engine A vs C
A — named spine + CE-9
The real engine. Named primitives (xiStep, projectReflex, sampleFlux, gradient, fuse, rhoOf, collapse, summarize, recall, omegaMu, omegaMap, PsiMetaFrame), harmonic basins, and the collapse metric.
C — standalone fallback
The original inline probe. Same adapter (newSession / step / view) but local basin geometry. Not trajectory-equivalent to A. Use it to compare, not as the source of truth.
Λψ collapse
Collapse is a dwell, not a single spike. ρ must stay at or above τ for two consecutive ticks while not already in hold. Realization A also requires the harmonic gate: Cψ above λc (scaled by the Ω-map) and intent aligned with the self-model.
When it fires, ψ is pulled halfway toward the nearest of six basins and the regime reads hold for six ticks. Events land in the Λψ list with tick, basin, ρ, and hash. The radar fill goes teal for the hold.
Parity and export
- verify replay
- Rebuilds the session from the same seed and replays the recorded schedule. PASS means live hash, digest, and event count match. That is the determinism check.
- 64-tick digest
- Canonical run: seed 0x51e1d, default config, 64 periodic ticks. Compare Σh across browsers and devices for float parity.
- export trace JSON
- Downloads seed, config, schedule, events, and frames. Filename encodes seed and tick.
The probe stays still until you press run. Pause whenever you want a still frame. Nothing here is stored off-device — traces only leave if you export them.
